Having troubles with the control system of the battle? Worry not; this guide is made just for you. Make sure to read the guide carefully so that you won’t be messed up in the boss fights.
Important notes:
- The keyboard control can be changed in the Controls of the Configuration Menu. However, it is NOT recommended to change them.
- Certain battles will not require you to do the Finishing Move since they will be automatically progressed with the main story.
- Using magic-based attacks will consume a certain amount of Mana, so make sure to constantly charge it.
- The Finishing Moves of non-Shantak Demonbane, non-Shantak Demonbane Two-Sword and Liber Legis vary depending on which type of equipment (including their bare fists) they are using until the end of turn.
- The game only has 3 Endings = Normal Ending, Secret Ending, and True Ending. Both Secret Ending and True Ending can only be unlocked after you completed the Normal Ending.
- Once you cleared the Normal Ending, the game will show you a special combination to summon the Shining Trapezohedron as the Finishing Move after the credit roll. Load the save file of the last battle, fight the final boss again and use this combination to unlock the True Ending.
- Battles can be skipped from the second playthrough onwards. Start from the beginning and skip all the way until the scene where the Destroyer Robot prepared to fight Demonbane Blood, you will get the option to play their battle. Defeat Demonbane Blood to unlock the Secret Ending.
Basic Controls:
- 攻 (blue) = Attack. Its default button is Z.
- 魔 (red) = Magic. Its default button is X.
- 大奥儀 = Super Move, can only be used when HP bar is 40% or less. Press the button of Attack and Magic at the same time to perform the Super Move.
- 必滅奥儀 = Finishing Move, use it when the red mark appeared after you defeated the enemy. Press the button of Attack and Magic at the same time to perform the respective Finishing Move.
- Moving = Press arrow keys.
- Leap = Press arrow keys twice.
- Dash = Press arrow keys + V.
- Jump = Press F.
- Normal attack = Press Z.
- Charging Mana = Press X.
- Guard = Press C.
- For flight Deus Machina (Liber Legis, Ambrose, Demonbane with Shantak and Two-Sword with Shantak), press F + up/down arrow keys to either go up or go down.
- For Liber Legis and Liber Legis only, press V + X to teleport.
